The Sugar Creek Crossing development has a traditional building design to blend in with the neighborhood, and will offer abundant natural light, as well as energy efficient and universal design components to make living there less expensive and more functional for residents.

The open concept kitchen and living room areas feature stained cabinetry, vinyl plank flooring and ceramic floor tiles in the bathrooms Each apartment will have all new appliances including a dishwasher, in-unit washer and dryer and high end window treatments.

Five units are available for those with disabilities including one sensory unit for the sensory impaired. All units are adaptable if the need arises for additional accessible apartments. The one-story building will be accessible from the exterior and all of the doors will be a suitable width for residents or visitors using wheelchairs or walkers.

The gabled roof and traditional design were created give the senior tenants a comforting, residential sense of place. Exterior finishes will include a brick masonry water table with prefinished fiber cement lap and panel siding above. Windows are low E vinyl framed / double hung.

Units are individually heated and air conditioned using electric forced-air system. Hot water will be provided through two central high efficiency gas-fired water heaters. There will be 24/7 security monitoring as well as on-site property management and maintenance.
